The Board of Directors and Management Team of the business project are highly skilled individuals and seasoned Bankers with extensive working experience in Zimbabwe’s financial services sector as follows:


Emmanuel Haggai Munyukwi Non-Executive Chairman

Emmanuel is a former career banker with Standard Chartered Bank with whom he served from 1978 to 1990. He resigned as senior manager of Corporate Banking to join the Nedlaw Group of Companies as Group Treasurer. In 1993 he was appointed Director of Art Corporation Limited and also served as the principal officer of the Group's Pension. He left the group in 1997 to join the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange as Deputy Chief Executive. Of this impressive institution, he became the Chief Executive Officer in January 2002. Emmanuel is an associate member of the Institute of Bankers in South Africa, Zimbabwe and sits on a number of boards and advisory councils.

Pangisile Matikiti Non-Executive Director

Pangisile is a qualified business manager with over 25 years experience in managing a variety of businesses. She worked as Managing Director for a Leather and Shoe manufacturing concern in Zimbabwe – G and D Holdings, Finance Director at Merspin Limited and had a stint in Malawi with a Health NGO as Administrator. She also spent 10 years with Edgars Stores as Group Financial Accountant and after a 10 year professional services engagement at Deloitte and Touché Zimbabwe. She is currently the Finance and Administrative Director of the University of Zimbabwe-University of California, San Francisco (UZ-UCSF) Collaborative Research Programme and sits on the boards of Trust Holdings and Trust Insurance Brokers. 

Trust Maturure Non-Executive Director

Trust joins Quest Financial Services as a non-executive director. He brings a wealth of financial management and professional services experience from a career that began at Deloitte and Touché Chartered Accountants where he served articles before pursuing a career in consulting. At Deloitte, he was a member of the Financial Institutions Services Team. He has comprehensive experience in business strategy, financial management, accounting, and risk management. Trust was recently instrumental in setting up another microfinance institution where he doubled as the Company Secretary and the Head of Finance. Trust is currently pursuing a number of interests in consulting and private business in the region. He will be significantly active at inception, contributing towards the company’s strategy, fundraising and research and business development.

Bhekimpilo Chatira Non-Executive Director

Bheki, currently General Manager, is a business leader with over 20 years of work experience covering consultancy, mining industry and oil and gas industry. He spent over 12 years working for Deloitte and Touche in New York (USA), London (UK) and Zimbabwe mainly on audit and consultancy clients. Bheki left Deloitte as a Senior Manager and joined a mining company in Sierra Leone as Group Financial Controller for a period of two years before joining Addax as finance manager and then later General Manager. He is an Associate member with the Institute of Directors of Zimbabwe and also sits on the board of Quest Financial Services since 2012.

Bheki owns and runs a few businesses in Zimbabwe including farming, real estate and transport. He was instrumental in the formation of UK Chapter of the Zimbabwe Chartered Accountants Association

Bheki is a chartered accountant and chartered secretary (business law) and he holds various degrees in accounting and finance including, Bcompt (UNISA), Bcom (Zimbabwe).

Tinsahe Hove Non-Executive Director

Tinashe has extensive financial services experience gained during his 6 year term with Deloitte & Touché Chartered Accountants where he served his articles and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. His experience ranged across various sectors i.e. financial, manufacturing, retail and the agro-industry. His expertise was in the area of financial reporting, financial management and risk advisory. He also brings with him international experience from engagements performed in Merrill Lynch, a leading financial institution in Dubai, where he had been seconded. He is currently part of the team spearheading group restructuring exercises of two (2) listed entities in Malawi. He is currently a manager at Deloitte and Touché Financial Advisory. He performs advisory in valuations and due diligence engagements. He is currently seconded to a leading international bank as a financial planner.

Misheck Hogwe Non-Executive Director

Misheck holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) Degree (LLBS) and an MBA from the University of Zimbabwe. He has been practicing law for 23 years. He has held several board appointments with local companies. He is currently studying for Masters in Constitutional & Human Rights Law with the MSU. He boasts of long-standing experience in Commercial and Corporate Law, Labour Law, Conveyancing & Notarial Practice as well as Alternative Dispute Resolution with a particular focus on Arbitration, Conciliation and Mediation. He is a member of the SADC Lawyers Association, African Bar Association, Pan African Lawyers Union and International Bar Association. He is a Councillor of the Council for Legal Education and currently chairs the Legal Education and Standards Committee of the Council.

James Msipa Managing Director

James began his career in the financial services sector as an intern in 2002 and accumulated a combined 10 years’ experience in banking and microfinance. He is the founder and Managing Director of Quest Financial Services, where he is responsible for General management, strategy, leadership, fundraising, developing new markets and products. James has made contributions to microfinance sector by pioneering the establishment of the microfinance industry pension fund and this institution will assist in skills retention for the sector. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Management and Finance, certificate in Banking, a certificate in Leadership and Entrepreneurship from Clark Atlanta University and a six sigma yellow belt from the same University. In 2014 James was selected into President Obama’s prestigious Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African leaders. He also holds an MBA qualification from Henley Business School.

Donald Saruro Executive Director

Donald has more than ten years experience in the financial sector where he worked for banking institutions namely Stanbic Bank and NMB Bank. He has all round experience in banking but specialised in the areas of corporate banking, client relationship management and credit risk management. Donald's expertise is in financial and credit risk analysis, business development, selling and administration. He also had a stint in South Africa as a consultant for small to medium sized enterprises, covering areas in business plan development, feasibility studies and strategic planning. Donald is a founding director of Quest Financial Services and holds a B. Com and an MBA
